Oh what wonderful memories: waist cinchers, dark hair, giggles turning into knee slapping laughter and being a true friend............................rest in peace dear one.
Gay was a wonderful person. My memories are only from HS, but they were good ones about her. She was very inclusive and just a good person. She, and her persona, will be missed in our circle of AHHS friends. JIM
So sad to read this! Gay was always such a happy person -- I remember her small waist, big crinolines, her cheerleader tryout dresses, and sweet smile. Good memories.
Gay and I after 50 years started to communicate with each other through AHHS homepage. We got to know each other very well from thousands of miles apart. I enjoyed our communication and was unhappy when we both got busy and stopped writtiing. Not long ago she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I have prayed for her ever since that news.
Gay has entered in to a land where there is no pain or sorrow but perpetual light shining on her. We now pray for Gay and all our friends whom we have loved but see no longer. Grant to them and her eternal rest. May her soul rest in peace. John Osborne
Gay was one of the most beautiful, intelligent, "all-around" persons in our class. I am so sad to hear of her death. May God comfort those close to her who mourn and may she now enjoy eternal blessedness. With love and appreciation, Robert Bullock
I remember Gay as such a pretty girl in high school, and she grew into a beautiful woman in appearance and in character in adulthood. She led an amazing life, full of courage. It's exciting to think what she might become in the life which she has now entered! God bless her family and friends who will miss her presence in their lives.
There's special comfort in knowing that the words "welcome home" have been heard in heaven, as the wonderful memories of Gays' life remain here in the hearts of loved ones and friends.
