HENRY DUDLEY WILLIS

September 25, 1945 - April 8, 2016

Born September 25, 1945, at St Teresa’s Hospital in Beaumont, Texas, died of cancer on his farm in Medina County, Texas at the age of

70. He was a member of the class of 1963 at Alamo Heights High School, served in Vietnam as a member of the US Army, later attended college and worked in the local family construction business that was started by his parents. Henry was blessed with two fine, successful children, a loving and caring constant companion and a few good, close friends. He enjoyed sports and the great outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lurlene G. and Samuel M. Willis, Jr. He is survived by his son Samuel M. Willis, III and his two children Shannen and Keegan, by his daughter Ashley Willis Bangeman and her husband John of Kalispell, Montana, and their son Luke, and his brother Thomas H, wife Colette and their children Alan and Katherine, all of San Antonio. He is also survived by his constant companion and best friend of many years, Julie Kallison.

He was not a member of Club Giraud, The Argyle, Oak Hills Country Club, The Dominion Country Club, River Oaks Country Club, Augusta National, The San Antonio Country Club, The Order of the Alamo, The German Club, The Cavaliers or any bowling league.

A memorial service will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Wednesday, May 4th at 3:00 PM. Guestbook available at www.porterloring.com.
