PARRISH, Guy Lambeth, 63, of Georgetown died May 25. Services were at Sunset Funeral Home, San Antonio. Arrangements by Cook-Walden/Davis, Georgetown.

 Guy Lambeth Parrish passed away on May 25, 2009. He was born on December 21, 1945 to Guy and Connie Parrish in San Antonio, Texas. Guy was a 1963 graduate of Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio and a1970 graduate of The University of Texas in Austin with dual majors in Marketing and Personnel Management and a minor in Social Anthropology. Guy lived in Georgetown, Texas and spent 5 wonderful years employed by Valero Energy Corp. He loved his customers, and they loved him. Guy worked in the restaurant business for the majority of his life with a passion for cooking and loved to eat. Playing a game of chess with his friends or grandchildren was his favorite pastime. His greatest gift over the last few years was his cell phone, because he loved to call and send daily text messages to his daughters, grandchildren and sister. He was preceded in death by his parents Guy and Connie Parrish, his brother Don Parrish and sister Lucy Bradley. He is survived by his 3 loving daughters, Debbie Mitchell and her husband Grant Mitchell, Marty Carpenter and her husband Rick Carpenter and Stacy Hunt and her husband Jason Hunt, his ex-wife Susan Parrish, his brothers Alan Parrish and Todd Parrish, his sister Joani Parrish, his 9 grandchildren Brittany, Tiffany, Taylor, Jamie, Stacey, Jacy, Colton, Ashtyn and Dylan, his Uncle Jim Hasslocher and family, his nephews John Graham, Guy Graham, Matthew Shaffer and Jacob Parrish, his nieces Karisha Neely and Lauren Parrish. Guy's daughter's would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Kumar Sathianathan and staff for taking such wonderful care of our Dad over the years. Guy will be dearly missed by his family and those who knew him. The Memorial Service was held on Saturday, June 13 at 12:00 noon at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home at 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, Texas 78218 with Pastor Joe Walts officiating. The family requested memorial contributions be sent to the Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Inc., PO Box 369, Kendalia, TX, 78027.
