Cathy died in Houston in September of 2008. Ever the optimist, she faced cancer bravely and with grace. She left behind sons Sam Sherrill Henry III and Christopher Henry and 4 granddaughters (one of whom looks amazingly like Cathy), as well as many friends. She graduated from A&M, later receiving a masters degree, and had a well respected career in the personnel field for an international company.
