Well, well, nice to hear from you and thanks for the B'Day note. I had forgotten something I meant to tell you about a couple of weeks ago.
I received an e-mail from you, not a distribution from your contacts, just me. There was no comment from you just an attachment. I opened it and it was some sales pitch about a diet. I didn't think you thought I needed to go on one, besides, for the record, I weigh 5 lbs. less then when we graduated.
I mentioned it to my wife and she said it sounds like someone hacked into his (your) email and spammed everyone. Apparently she's seen that happen.
I don't know but thought I'd tell you about it if no one else has.
As for golf...I had gotten down to a 6 handicap and went north from there due to getting technical and thinking too much. It got so bad I quit cold turkey for 10 years. And now, with the age, I don't expect to be there ever again, even from the senior tees. But I do get out every now and then for sun and social...meaning beer and a cigar.
Here's something amazing about golf and age. Last summer I played with a friend of mine who brought along a friend of his who I had met but never played with. Jack is his name. He was a 3 time Florida State Amateur Champion and 4 time Senior Champion.

Anyway last summer Jack was 80 years old and shot a 76 from the regular men's tees (6276 yds) at Mimosa Hills in Morganton NC a Donald Ross course. I knew he was good and was scared to death, but he must have had a positive influence on me. My best round in years 11 pars (9 straight), 4 bogeys, 2 doubles, 1 triple for an 85 from the senior tees.
