After graduation, I continued my education obtaining a BA double major in French and Sociology from Texas Woman's University in 1967, after which I worked for two years as a Social Worker with the Lucas County Welfare Department in Toledo Ohio. Met my future husband in San Antonio and am happily married with five children, one grandchild and a second due next week.

Now I have two grandsons, Jude Yafi born December 31, 2011 and Zade Yafi born Nov 22, 2014.
