"When you speak about me to others both now and after I die, please do not cast me in the light of a hero, but cast God as the hero...and give him the credit. I do not regard the way I am approaching this journey as heroic. What I am hoping is that those of you who are watching will come to see that dying joyfully, courageously, and openly faithful is normal for a believer, not exceptional. Ask yourself why it is that it seems exceptional. It should not be. If God really is our primary value in life and we really do believe that there is more to life than death, why wouldn't we be courageous and faithful right down to the last breath? If we really perceive how amazing God's grace is toward us, why wouldn't we be grateful to the end?

Remember that I...

Love you all,
Jack"
