Sorry to hear of her passing. She was a very sweet girl I remember fondly from High School. I'm sure she has left many friends behind who will miss her terribly.
Once again I am saddened to hear of another classmate who has died, and I regret missing the chance to reconnect. Arlene was a kind, lovely person. I am sure her passing has created a large hole in the hearts of those who knew and loved her well.
Arlene and I were never in the same circles at Heights, but connected through FB a few years ago -- had a sweet lunch and good fellowship here in Austin. She faced many challenges in her life, physically and personally, and seemed to be at a good place in both personally and spiritually. Rest in peace, sweet lady. Grace to her family.
Arlene was always the same with that infectious smile and friendly manner. I recall visiting with her numerous times during my early college years when she worked in the corporate offices for HEB and I was working in its drug division.
I never had the opportunity to connect with Arlene after high school, but she looks like a delightful person in her picture. My prayers are for her family and other loved ones who will miss her so. God bless them.
I have fond memories of Arlene. I remember her with a smile on her face. She had an outgoing personality. She would initiate conversation and she was a lot of fun; very colorful. Her passing is sad; may she rest in peace.
When I read Arlene's name, I instantly remembered a cute, sweet classmate that I had not seen probably since graduation. May God wrap his loving arms around her family. Rest in peace sweet Arlene. Joan
As others have posted, I also have kind and happy thoughts of Arlene. That's a gracious legacy and a comforting memory about the classmate we have lost.
