I am so sad to hear of Steve Lee’s death. What a gentleman. Always a smile for you and a kind remark. I will miss running into him and seeing his sweet face. Rest in peace, Steve.
I have such a lovely memory of talking to Skippy and his wife at the 50th reunion. They told me of their long marriage and they still looked so much in love. I remember thinking how lucky they were and admiring him so much. I am so sorry to hear of Skippy's death. He was such a nice fellow!!
Johnny was one of my favorite people ever! I first met him in 3rd grade - Mrs. Richter's class. He was funny, silly, and always in trouble! And very gutsy! He would just laugh it off when he got caught! A typical minister's son. John and his wife, Renee, built a school in Africa, and went over to its dedication. It was named after his parents. He was also a donor to my little school at St. Paul's! A VERY generous person! I will miss one of my good, good friends. ????
Happy Birthday Kay! We seem to be missing each other's calls but your life is probably just as chaotic as mine. How is the book? Jack and I plan to be in SA for the eclipse and hope we can get together over the weekend. I need the therapy only you can give.

I am so sad to hear about Brooke. She always had a beautiful mystique to me - gorgeous to look at with those big doe eyes, brainy and conscientious, and ethical and hardworking. It sounds like she had a wonderful and full life. I am sorry for her family as well.

I am so sad to hear about Cissy. She was one of my first friends when I was a child. So sweet and kind and refined. I knew she had been ill for a long while. Now she has slipped the bonds of that body that didn't serve her anymore. May she rest in peace.

I am touched to hear that Susan has died. I am not surprised to hear that she became a psychotherapist; she was very smart and also very funny! I remember going over to her house in high school, and liking her very much. Her father had died, and she just had her mother. I remember thinking she had a pretty hard life, but was making the most of it. So glad you found her, Hop!
